Stellar Roots, set on a vast 40-acre land in the Blue Ridge Mountains, aims to establish a retreat space for queer women of the global majority to reconnect with nature and themselves. The challenge was to transform this beautiful yet underutilized land into a vibrant community hub that not only facilitates personal growth and wellness but also attracts grant support and establishes a strong digital presence to validate their efforts.

Our Solution

iammai CREATIVE undertook a holistic approach to develop Stellar Roots' digital and physical presence. This started with in-depth market research and immersive experiences on the land itself, capturing its essence through recorded conversations and visits. A distinctive logo and branding toolkit were developed to resonate with their vision of healing and connection. The branding was complemented with high-quality visuals, including aerial videography shot by drones and on-site photography, encapsulating the ethereal beauty of the site.

The website was meticulously crafted to reflect an earthy and spiritual aesthetic, aligned with the organization's core values. Key features included scrolling logos of sponsors and grantors, showcasing community support and credibility. The site provided detailed information on how visitors could engage as stewards of the land, promoting long-term involvement and sustainability.
