Sankofa Farms LLC, Founded by Farmer and Public Speaker Kamal Bell, is a multifaceted agricultural entity that is changing food intake habits of those living in and affected by food deserts.
Kamal’s company site needed to be upgraded to reflect the incredible work he was doing in the community. Together we transformed his website to a hub that adequately displayed the full breadth of their partnerships, offerings, merch, and impact.

Results
Increased Time on Pages by 40% - Utilizing videos on the homepage assists the brand to “show” instead of “tell” what they do and what they’re about.
Created consistency in brand voice - their previous website had no color scheme and several fonts on the page. We created a branding toolkit that specified the colors, fonts, and overall style.
Added Ease to Main Navigation - Prior to working with us, the navigation was very bare-bones, and some links didn’t work. We built out a framework that organized all their accomplishments and offerings well.
Added Depth to the About Us Page - We inquired about the why, the mission, and the community they serve to provide viewers with the full story of Sankofa Farms
Added Partners, Sponsors, Airbnb Experiences, Public Speaking - These connections bring validation and trustworthiness to any organization by displaying the community of organizations that support them.
Configured Print on Demand Merchandise - Storage for branded merch was a challenge, so we provided a system via Squarespace that allows the manufacturing and shipping to be outsourced saving them time, space, and money.
