Overview

Arena Social Arts Club is a DC Based, 501(C)(3) Non-Profit Arts organization with the mission to highlight global-majority artists/curators and showcase visual, performing and literary arts in a multifunctional community space that aims to advance the importance of cultural arts through events and authentic engagement.

All participating artists retain 100% of the sale of original artwork and receive the necessary mentorship, resources, and tools to expand their expertise in the arts; au gratis.

The Founder, Ian Callender, had a one page site with just the mission & vision statement. However there had been dozens of events, past exhibits and important community moments that were not shared. We were tasked with displaying the full breadth and impact of all of the Gallerys and Studios previous opening receptions, videography, photography, and share info on exhibits currently on view.

Results

  • Increased Time on Pages by 225% - Utilizing videos on the homepage assists the brand to “show” instead of “tell” what they do and what they’re about.

  • Created consistency in brand voice - their previous website had no color scheme and lacked information about the locations. We created a branding toolkit that specified the brand personality, colors, fonts, and overall tone.

  • Expanded Navigation - Prior to working with us, there was only one page. We built out a framework that organized all their accomplishments, partners, galleries and studios to tell their story in full.
